A Little Bit About Me...

I believe my objective when leading an organized course or when tutoring is not to teach but to facilitate the building of knowledge and the development of skills in each and every one of my students. I have received many satisfactions when my students are able to do by themselves what was previously a difficult, almost impossible, problem to solve. I received my BSEE from the UF and my MBA from FIU. There was a lot of mathematics, Physics with Calculus and Chemistry involved. My college job was teaching Calculus. After my MBA, I went to work in the Finance department. This gave me a detailed understanding of how the accounting and finance departments were setup in a large company. With this knowledge I was able to help in the startup of several companies. Customizing the chart of accounts for a new company, can be challenging and fun. You start with the basic accounts you know you will need and leave enough room to add sub accounts. A retail company is very different from a services company is very different from a construction company.
