My comments on tutoring Political Science : Gained significant understanding of political science theory and concepts while studying history and economics as an undergraduate.

I have over 5000 hours (nearly 10 years) of tutoring experience, including the SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, LSAT and other selected subjects. 15 years experience in a broad variety of subjects!

I have a way of perceiving the difficulty the student has, and am able to explain the material in a simple way that makes it easy for students to grasp. I have a good rapport with my student and have had several that have told me that I am the best teacher they have ever had(which didn't hurt my ego!!) I love teaching and working with children. I think that turning the class material into a fun experience will make it easier to learn, and make the experience enjoyable for them as well. I am patient, experienced, and compassionate. I love coming up with in-class activities and games to make the students retain the material. I've even come up with songs and rhymes to help students from young children to my college peers.
I have taught children how to sail for about 10 years now. These children range in groups of 5-15 and ages 5 to adult. This requires not only instruction, but First Aid and CPR certifications and safety procedures.
