German is one of my top subjects! I first learned German in 1999, when I moved to Luxembourg. School was mostly in German, in High School, most my classes were in French or German. In high school, I would tutor my classmates in English, a subject in which I have always excelled. I am most interested in studying history and geography, and I long to share what I have learned. I feel that I can relate to children because I am also a child at heart. I believe in constant verbal quizzing and repitition as a means to develop the child's ability to retain knowledge and call it forth at will. I have learned from past work experiences that all people learn differently be it either visual, kinetic (hands-on), or verbal (by listening). By learning the child's learning type you can tell which method appeals to them and can create a learning environment to encourage their growth at a faster rate. I also have a history in the theatrical arts and vocal music performance which can assist in grasping the child's attention during those times of relaxed focus.
