I have worked for much of my career as an engineer but have also taught earth science at the high school level for two years in the recent past. During my time studying at the New College of Florida, Florida's honors college, I took two semesters of a class in which I prepared and taught elementary, middle, and high school students various topics in science. My education consists of a Bachelors of Arts degree in chemistry, with a minor in biology and significant field experience in academic research in both fields. My inaugural teaching experience was as an HEOP tutor for introductory physics. I have been a freelance tutor for organic chemistry for over a year, and have tutored Regents chemistry as well, and have volunteered my services to fellow students for two and a half years.
