My experience is primarily in the field of Structural engineering and mechanics, which involve physics and mathematics heavily. I have spent six years at North Carolina State University studying engineering which involved advanced mathematic concepts while earning a bachelors and masters degree. A Little Bit About Me...

I began my work, with youth, in 1983 when I worked with incarcerated youth at the Highland Youth Center in upstate NY. I later taught high school social studies at Mount Vernon, HS in Mount Vernon, NY where I also tutored after school. I eventually traveled to Benin, West Africa where I taught at a local British School and taught and tutored at the American Language Center. I have experience teaching diverse populations.
