As a graduate, I've been very blessed to have received a degree in Business Communication. In college I learned how to become a better educator, and communicate with them on the highest level. Although, I tutor in all of the academic areas, I also enjoy helping my student appreciate the art of becoming a good writer, and thinkers. My students are also encouraged to read for relaxation, and entertainment. Making the education process fun is also an asset. During college, I worked as a home-school Spanish, Language Arts and History teacher for students ages seven through fourteen. I volunteered in classrooms, tutored, and provided childcare for children with special needs. I studied Spanish and abroad. Upon graduation, I began my teaching career in L.A. where I taught kindergarten. After three years, I decided to teach abroad and moved to a small Chinese city where I taught preschool. A Little Bit About Me...

After earning my BA and CA Teaching Credential in English, my love for the language and subject drove me to complete my MA in English and Comparative Literature in less than two years. Such an intense program demanded that I not only be highly organized, but that my analytical, writing, and verbal skills be immensely effective, as well. Consequently, I successfully translated these abilities to the many students I have taught and tutored over the past six years.
