My comments on tutoring Russian : I'm a native Russian speaker. I have a Master's degree in Teaching English as a Foreign language and over 18 years of hands-on teaching experience.

My teaching motto is: “There are no bad students, there are only bad teachers.” Many teachers make the mistake of thinking that not all children have the ability to study a foreign language. That’s not really true. I firmly believe that every child can be taught if the teacher is professional and creative in finding ways to encourage him/ her to learn. During my18 plus years experience in teaching I worked out the main rules that I follow when planning and conducting my lessons: -Be informed, eager and enthusiastic with the subject. -Organize and plan lessons well in advance. -Make sure that every student understands in advance what is going to be taught before starting each topic. -Keep students actively engaged with all parts of the lesson. -Address each student by name and use praise often. -Have high expectations and show students that you expect their best.

Russian Language Lessons with Native Speaker

I am a native Russian speaker with more than 15 years of the subject studies and 5+ years of private tutoring. Having started to help my peers with Russian in High School, I graduated with the economics degree and have learned a lot about how to build classes, what method to choose etc, but I prefer to teach more practical and useful things, and I've always been fascinated by linguistics.
