Learning is my passion, and helping others realize the importance of education is an important goal of mine. I approach teaching as a helper and guide rather than a lecturer; I feel that most learning takes place when a person figures out the problem on their own with help understanding the theory behind the issue at hand. A Little Bit About Me...

I have more than 5 years experience as a substitute teacher at almost every level. I have had the opportunity to also serve as a long term substitute teacher. I also have 1 year of experience teaching at a pre-school level, 2.5 years teaching at a post-secondary level, and a semester of tutoring a middle school student. I have also taken course work in Differentiated Instruction. All of these experiences have given me the skills needed to be a successful teacher. Teaching at several levels allows me to adapt my teaching to the learning level of the student. I will work diligently to find the out the learning style of each student and try to adapt my teaching style to meet the student’s individual needs.
