I instructed kids how to swim, dive, play various sports and gave dancing lessons to the guests. As a high school student I tutored 7th and 8th graders in an after school community center. I was one of a few staff at the University of Connecticut to instruct graduates and staff in the use of the various electronic facilites available to them.

I was the kid in the back of math class who was always drawing instead of paying attention. My early focus on the arts gave my parents a few gray hairs when report cards were issued but in the long run, that same focus has enabled me to build a very successful career. For the past seventeen years, I've worked full-time writing and drawing comic books for major publishers such as Marvel and DC Comics, working on books like Superman, Batman, and Spider-Man. Having recently earned my Bachelors of Arts Degree from Assumption College in Worcester, MA, I returned home to Rhode Island to pursue my certificate in Secondary Education.
