I know that all students learn differently. I try to cater my teaching to fit the individual student. I know what may work with one student will not work with another student. I am patient, conciderate and caring. I want my students to gain some knowledge of the subject they are having trouble with. I worked for four years in the department of Minority Affairs as a tutor of calculus, biology, and general and organic chemistry, but the majority of my students sought assistance in chemistry. I also worked for a year as a volunteer tutor in the Honors Tutoring Committee of Tennessee Technological University and then served for several more years as an Honors Tutoring Committee Co-Chair.
