Writing Skills is one of my top subjects!

Once while subbing, I entered a classroom where the students had been allowed to watch Jerry Springer on TV for the last two weeks. I couldn't let this continue, but I saw how emotional the class was about the show. I encouraged them to write their own talk show and told them we would perform it the next day. I find that connecting student's interest with the subject matter to be learned is the best way to teach.
After completing my undergraduate degree in English Literature at Florida State University, I worked as a substitute teacher in Hillsborough County for two years. In 2009, I completed my Master's Degree in Communication at University of South Florida while simultaneously employed at the Department of Special Education. I have been tutoring with Advanced Learners for 1 year and am currently an Adjunct Instructor of Public Speaking at HCC Dale Mabry.

My comments on tutoring Writing Skills : Superior writing skills are required in all phases of one's personal and professional life and I have consistently given special emphasis to the necessity of expressing one's self to the very best of one's ability. Good High school student looking to make money,

I am a high schooler with good grades. I graduated Alonso High School in Tampa Florida in June 2013. I graduated with a 3.4 GPA and a strong passion for History and Writing.
