I want to help your child achieve success!

I've been tutoring elementary school students for about 4 years. I've been able to help students raise their grades and become more successful in school. I have great study tips and I can help with test preparation. I'm excellent at math and can help students learn without a calculator. I'm also excellent in English, as that is what I want to major in. I want to be able to help students achieve success with my help. My comments on tutoring Language Arts : Qualified in this subject by WyzAnt. For a six month period I worked with the Department of World Languages at Essex Junction High School as full time substitute teaching English, Latin, French, Spanish and German.

For the greater part of my life I have been involved in various facets of education. I have acted as substitute teacher at the middle and high school levels for a total of 10 years, 8 of which were spent at 12 schools in Vermont and 2 at 10 schools in Hernando County FL. Hands-on. We all learn more when we experience new things, and get to try them ourselves. Children are more engaged when there is something for the them to do to interact with the materials provided.
I was an elementary education major for 2.5 years before following my specific passion to writing and literature in my Junior year to finish up school. I graduated with a 3.35 QPA from Slippery Rock University in May of 2015! I have completed reading instructional courses in K-6th elementary education as well as courses in literature and reading assessment.
