My comments on tutoring English ESOL : Two years experience as Senior ESOL instructor with Inlingua (Vienna, Austria). As a substitute instructor for 22 other staff, I was frequently told that I was the first instructor whose every word was understood. As stated elsewhere, I have offered ESOL in many other areas including Tarpon Springs Campus of St. Petersburg College, with Korean Air Force Officers and as a volunteer with H.E.A.R.T. and R.S.V.P.

For the greater part of my life I have been involved in various facets of education. I have acted as substitute teacher at the middle and high school levels for a total of 10 years, 8 of which were spent at 12 schools in Vermont and 2 at 10 schools in Hernando County FL. I have taught elementary school in private and public settings, in both New York City and Florida. I taught high school English and Global Studies in New York city. I have worked as a tutor in general subjects for elementary students, as well as for Reading, Language, and Biology for high school anc dollege students.
