As a graduate from one of the top Liberal Arts schools in New England, I helped tutor college students in English Composition for one semester. Before I changed my major, I was Secondary English Education, which translates into training to be a high school English teacher. As a current graduate student I have had the opportunity to learn a great deal about the effective techniques and skills it takes for one to succeed within the classroom. I have so far earned my BS in Clinical Psychology and am currently working on my Masters in Business Administration, which have both given me a much greater appreciation and understanding of the importance of organization, promptness, and communication as each pertains to being a successful student. A Little Bit About Me...

As a writer, I spent my early years refining my grammar skills and continued on this path in college, graduate school and in my professional life. I am a published poet and was accepted to attend the 2003 Breadloaf Young Writer's Conference. I I enjoy teaching students of all abilities and specialize in working with gifted and talented youth and youth who are interested in exploring the world in an experiential way. I am the kind of teacher who takes time to get to know a child's individual interests and teach using the student centered model in the classroom.
