Whenever I have been recruited to help someone in the past I have been a firm beleiver in less is more. Though it is important for the person to understand what he/she is reading or writing it is important to shadow their work instead of smothering them. I always feel for both myself and others that learning comes from doing and trying by ones self, and asking for help only when needed. After that I became a teacher's aid for the local middle school, working with children that were not allowed to go to regular classes due to their behavior.
