I graduated from my Master's program with a 4.09 GPA and was inducted into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. I have taught in the public school system for over 7 years at all grade levels from Kindergarten to Grade 12. A Little Bit About Me...

In having a great passion for working with/teaching children, I think that it is immensely important to remember that everyone has a different way of learning. Some ways work better for some as opposed to others. My teaching style is always based around the children that I am teaching. A Little Bit About Me...

Once I am assigned a child I initally spend time going over a typical homework assignment to see where they are having some trouble. I get them to read out loud to me to see what their level of reading is. Some kids have problems sounding out the words or with simple rules of grammar. Once I see where they are at then I start bringing in some workbooks to help them in that particular area and apply that to their homework.
