My comments on tutoring Speaking : Good speaker, and speech writer. Experienced having to stand in front of peers and colleagues to give presentations for classes and briefings. Able to help teach how to become a better speaker through learned exercises and creative criticisms.

My experiences come from a mix of studies and real life application. I have studied various forms of writing, from professional, creative, and argumentative; these include gather sources and properly citing them in both MLA and APA formats. My personal applications of these writing materials have been for personal use in working on short stories and poems. I have an extensive history with drawing, mainly through personal sketches (both cartooning and realism). While in college, I have also studied several techniques that have greatly improved my drawing practices in the form of realistic drawing.
My teaching style is very hands on, and student focused. I like to connect with whoever I teach on a personal level so that they can feel comfortable with me as a tutor and with themselves while learning how to approach old problems in new ways.

I have been a teacher in the Hoke County school district for 3 years now. I taught 5th grade for one year, then moved to second grade for the past two years. I have taught all subjects and have worked with students of various levels and abilities from Kindergarten through High school. I have had training in all areas of education through my undergraduate and graduate degrees, and have seen great success with the students in my classes.

In 2001 I completed my Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education. Because I enjoy and love working with children I decided to go back to school and work on my Bachelor degree in Elementary Education. I completed my bachelor degree in August 2009.
