A Little Bit About Me...

As a late bloomer to my education, I understand the importance of completeing an education at the earliest time. I currently hold a BS degree in business with an emphasis on international markets. This degree has helped me to better understand and appreciate economics, business math and accounting. In pusuit of this I have written papers from a 2 page summary to an 80 page thesis. One of the most important parts of my teaching philosophy in tutoring is to adapt to each student’s learning style. While teaching Elementary Composition, I used technology in the classroom in order to make the required subject matter more appealing to my computer-generation students, by giving PowerPoint presentations and showing you-tube video clips as a means to practice analytical skills on popular culture.
