My style is different for every kid. Every child learns differently -I help with child care and VBS at church - I tutored a special needs child for a while - I passed my exit exam with very high scores - I am an 11th grader who helps elementary and middle school students at my school I may not have much experience, but I am responsible and caring. In American Sign Language I was raised learning English along with American Sign Language so I could speak to both of my parents. As my dad is hearing and my mother has been deaf since birth. Once my parents divorced I moved to Texas with my mother and step-dad, who is deaf as well. Being in an all deaf house American Sign Language was my only way of communcation with my parents. I am extremely fluent in Sign Language. I would also interpert for my parents if needed in multiple places and multiple situations. I am not certified but I have been around sign language longer than many interperturs have. As for typing skills, I have always been a proficent and fast typer all throught school. I always finished my keyboarding exercises first and know how to work any Microsoft program, such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. I also type without looking at the keyboard. I passed all math and english classes with a B or better.
