I love teaching. I always get well prepared before I sit down with someone. A couple of hours of preparation beforehand can make the difference between a tedious, unproductive experience and one that encourages the student and makes the excited about learning. I try to help with sticking points and not to lecture. I just recently taught an Elementary Statistics course as an adjunct at Mohawk Valley Community College. I possess a very strong mathematical and statistical background. I took a total of 6 specialized statistic courses at Oswego along with other upper level mathematics courses. I was involved in an independent study while at Oswego and interned in the actuarial department at Utica National Insurance Group.
