Since graduating from Northern Illinois University, I have had several experiences teaching children at the elementary and middle school age. I was a nanny for a family of three for a year right after graduating. It was a wonderful experience and gave me the opportunity to create my own lessons and activities for the children. The following year I was a substitute teacher in Wisconsin for various grade levels and loved each experience. I am looking forward to beginning to substitute teach again this December in the DeKalb area.

I have been fascinated with tutoring for the past three years ago. I began tutoring one of the professors at the University of IL at Chicago in a foreign language. Since then, I have been tutoring various age groups from eight years old to fifty four years old. I received my Bachelor degree in Biology from University of IL at Chicago. A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated from Purdue University in the Spring of 2009. Obtaining my Bachelor of Arts in Secondary English Education, I also received Academic Honors during the Fall of 2007, Spring 2008, Fall 2008, and Spring 2009. Recently, I taught Language Arts for 7th graders as well as READ 180, a remedial reading program designed to improve reading levels, at McCulloch Middle School in Marion, Indiana.
