I believe that all students can learn if they are taught in a style that is most conducive to their learning style and motivations. To make that happen for each of my students, I try to assess their specific learning styles early on and get to know what drives them and their goals. By teaching in a method that is more individualized to them I grab their attention, keep it and impart skills and lessons quickly and easily. I am compassionate, patient, and sincere. I employ various teaching styles depending on the age and needs of the student. For college and high school students, I ask that students bring their textbooks as well as notes to each session. I often prepare example questions for material similar to that tested on an exam. Not only does this allow the student with an opportunity to practice additional problems in areas that are weak, but also ensures that the student fully comprehends the information.
