With physics, I try to apply the problem to a real world situation in which the student would be able to relate it to in which will help them fully understand what is being asked. My teaching style is not memorization but rather practice. The best method that I found for teaching math based subjects is step by step work throughs for each problem. By taking the time to step through each math problem, the student learns the theory (Algebra, geometry, etc) as well as the solution. Just solving the problem doesn't teach them as much as understanding HOW to get the solution

I am a retired chemist with 42 years of experience in industry. I hold a BS degree with a Chemistry major, and completed some graduate courses in Chemistry. During my career, I supervised laboratory technicians and taught them laboratory procedures and equipment operation. I developed excellent grammatical skills in writing laboratory and progress reports, and delivering management presentations. As a Safety Coordinator, I presented monthly programs on laboratory safety. I taught Sunday School for 8 years, coached T-Ball, Little League Baseball, Midget Football and Girls’ Softball for 2 years each.
