I teach how math and science can be useful and fun!

Relaxed style, I am there to help the student learn in whatever way works best for them. I like to use real world situations to make the content practical and ensure that the student both retains the knowledge and can apply it.
I have a BS degree in chemistry and an MS degree in math. I currently teach at the college level for various colleges including dual credit courses in many high schools. I have been a tutor for over 15+ years. I have been a statistician, a chemist in a laboratory setting, worked in the medical field, and done consulting for various companies through out my career. My teaching style is fun and engaging. You must find what engages a student. Everyone has a different learning style. My teaching style utilizes any and all manipulatives necessary to engage a student. I also review student data to determine what learning gaps exist.
I have eighteen years of experience: ten at the missle school level, and eight at the high school level.
