I have worked with various needy students who have been classified as learning disabled, or those who know they are in need for assistance. My experiences vary, as I worked with older children in filling out applications for jobs and to prepare for jobs. I also, have worked with many adults on writing papers for college preparation or with helping their children on writing tasks. I have worked with young children on phonics and reading readiness.

All kids can learn no matter what their disability!

I have been teaching special education for over 6 years. I've taught low functioning students with Learning disabilities, autism, MR, etc... Some kids learn at a different pace and some progress, while it may not be much, opens the door to confidence and hope. I am a licensed social worker with over 9 years of experience in healthcare. I am a life long learner and have completed several college degrees with a high GPA. I am currently working towards completing a PhD in Leadership Studies. I am a beginner at professional tutoring but have a strong academic record.
