I believe that being a teacher is a calling. I feel that I have been called. I have ADD and believe that this allows me to understand the need to approach teaching in different ways, depending on each childs needs. I feel that children have the ability to learn more than we adults. They just have more obstacles to overcome. A Little Bit About Me...

I have taught statistics at higher education many times. I have tutored students in biology, math, statistics at higher education. I have also done some teaching in grade school, high school. This has been in biology area and in computer skills.
I really like teaching and tutoring for anyone. Working with children is wonderful so if you want me to tutor statistics I would like that. Probably that would be for high school students and college students.

A Little Bit About Me...

As in sports coaching, I believe that an academic tutor's main goal is to put the student in a position to be successful. My approach is different for each student based on how they best learn. I believe that real world examples are well retained and make a connection for the student between study and application. My years of corporate experience have provided a deep library of such examples.
I have been a guest speaker at Middle Schools on economics and have worked with youth as a sports coach for fifteen years. My career has been in Marketing where I have risen to the top of organizations in part due to my development of young talent to its highest potential.

I really enjoy, generally speaking, helping people, but mainly help them pursue a future degree for themselves and a better life. I keep telling to my students that they should erase the "math fear" and that everything is easy if one understands it. Also, in case that they do not understand is my fought as a teacher and I am going to find a better way to explain the issue. My teaching goal is to prepare students to become responsible persons, self-motivated and independent individuals able to solve actual problems and to provide leadership in the technical world. I teach the students not to stop their thinking process once a numerical value has been calculated. I stress the meaningful interpretation of the predicted results and in agreement with physical units and the maximum allowed limits of the actual application. The most important things that I can teach are critical thinking, analytical skills, intellectual independence, and an ability to pose and answer questions that will not only allow students to understand the material that I teach, but will also follow them to other courses and beyond.
