A Little Bit About Me...

I believe the biggest key to learning is finding a way for students to relate to the information. Getting to know the student and relating thier interests to the material at hand is key to making a connection. I also believe it is critical to remain positive and supportive with students. At some point every student becomes frustrated by material that is challenging to them. By being able to keep students in a positive state of mind and by keeping the material fresh and fun, students will be more willing and able to continue the learning process.

I consider myself to exert a demonstrator model of teaching, meaning that I help children learn through demonstrating skills and then coaching students to apply these skills.
