Prior to changing my undergraduate major to Geography, I was an elementary education major. I have always enjoyed working with students; however, at the time I wanted to try something different and is how I ended up working as a Park Ranger for the National Park Service (NPS). My experiences with NPS have allowed me to teach in an informal setting, by educating the public about their national parks. I also have the opportunity to present curriculum based education programs in grades K-5 about different aspects in NPS. I currently work with special education students at a local school. I also work at an after school program to ensure educational activites during the after school hours. I Earned a double major from BHSU in 2008 for Sociology and Human Services with an empahsis in probation and Law enforcement.
