This is what seems to be working for my student who is currently taking a class at the University of Dayton. She is an adult learner and her goal is to just understand how to use Adobe Creative Suite software in her work as an artist. She goes to her class. She works on the assignments as best as she can and reviews the notes she took in class. She makes a list of anything she doesn't understand or needs more information about. We meet for our tutoring session and I answer her questions and show her how to complete her assignments if necessary. I am a creative, approachable, goal-oriented teacher. I think it is important to first determine and establish what the student's goals are. Then, together we will create a plan to reach those goals. I received an honors degree from Fairborn High School and Wright State University. Education has always been very important to me. While attending WSU for fine arts, I was reminded of my passion for teaching and decided to also acquire my art education certification. During my education program, I was placed in Xenia High School. I was also selected by the art education advisor as one of four students to take part in an innovative teaching class where I learned how to use art and music to teach science and math.
