I worked for 15 years as an engineer in electronics and telecommunication in Atlanta, Georgia and 15 years as a teacher at Bard Early College (BHSEC Manhattan, 525 East Houston Street, New York, New York 10002). I am very competent, have rich knowledge in mathematics (arithmetic, algebra, plane geometry, spatial geometry, calculus, trigonometry etc.), I have a good pedagogical spirit and patience with my student and using the best methods in order to help the student to understand any matter of mathematics. I am Chemical Engineer since 1983 and have been Lecturer at the Universidad Central de Venezuela for more than 30 years. I got my PhD at the Karlsruhe university (today Karlsruhe Institute of Technology). My teaching experience is mainly in Thermodynamics and Transport Phenomena, teaching among others Chemical Engineering Principles, Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, Separation Processes, Solid-Liquid Separations, Particle Technology. I have also some industrial experience in the alumina industry where have been process engineer during the plant expansion from 1.3 to 2.0 MMTPY at the end of the 80's. My research field is Fluid-Particle Systems in particular Solid-Liquid Separation, but also processes where particle size distribution affects the performance

Teaching Philosophy I am a very good teacher by nature and have excellent track record in my previous classes where students were always learning and passed the test with high scores. I have frequently heard from my students that they have learnt in my class way more than their entire studying period in the university.
