My comments on tutoring Grammar : I have tutored students about grammar at the middle school level, and I would feel comfortable tutoring at the high school level also (SAT, ACT, etc.).

I am a big proponent of the theory of multiple intelligences and believe that each student has certain styles of learning that work best for them. I aim to help students figure out how they learn best. Once they realize where their strengths are, they can incorporate the concept into all of their studies, not just the subject for which I happen to be tutoring them.
I have tutored a wide variety students on many subjects. I am most experienced tutoring high school students for the SAT. I allow my teaching style to mold itself to each individual student, finding methods of communicating the information that best suit the learning style of my student. I graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor degree in Elementary Education and then received my Master's degree in Elementary Education with a specialization in Educational Technology. I have done extensive work in the technology department at our school and continue to work with SMART products teaching other teachers how to use technology in their classrooms.
