I allow my teaching style to mold itself to each individual student, finding methods of communicating the information that best suit the learning style of my student. I attempt to not only show students when a mistake has been made but teach them how to better avoid those mistakes in the future, as well as teaching them to better catch their own mistakes.

My comments on tutoring Spelling : I learned to spell use small tricks such as: the word business. I learned to spell it as bus-i-ness. I broke down the words into smaller words to help me learn them for spell test and vocabulary.

As a teacher trainer for the past 7 years, I have taught teachers research based instructional strategies to help struggling learners as well as applied these concepts in my own classroom. Although I primarily caught art during my 17 year career, I also was interested in ways to help students learn reading skills.
