I am ranked 12 ou of 496 in my class. I am an Honors and AP college student. I have a 4.83 grade point average. I take eight classes a day from 5:50am - 3:00pm. I am a voluntary tutor for students after school and I have been successfully doing that for a year now. My comments on tutoring English : I am a sophomore at Sonoma State so I am proficient and experienced with English from 1st grade to senior year of high school to sophomore in college.

I would say my teaching style is really focused on the student and what they need. In school I was an average student never getting lower than a C or higher than in an A. So I really want to focus on listening to the student, especially because they probably are not heard at school. I want to make each subject interesting to the student, whether that means going out and playing basketball or chess or candy or anything the student absolutely loves. I want to attach each subject to a good memory, I don't want to pressure them or push them to just memorize facts that I know they will probably forget after they are tested. From my own personal experience I want any student I tutor to turn around and actually enjoy learning about a subject they are having trouble with.
