I have a very comedic, bubbly, outgoing personality which I use with my students in my current classroom. I believe in making learning fun and enjoyable in order to build a personal relationship with learning. I also like to incorporate technology, games, and even music into my lessons.
I have 17 years of classroom teaching experience including Kindergarten, 4th grade, 5th grade, and 6th grade. I am certified in Elementary Education, and my expertise is teaching Reading and Language Arts. I also have a Master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction with an emphasis on Reading. Each student has a different way of learning. This should be individualized to fit the needs of each student to maximize gains.
I am a certified teacher, and I am eager to see students make gains in his or her educational endeavors. I tutor students after school during the school year, and I am flexible during the summer. I am passionate about students being able to complete assignments to the best of his or her ability with guidance and assistance from educational leaders.
