I have taught Geometry for the last 6 years at a high school I have been a high school teacher for the last 6 years. I have recieved high scores 5 years in a row for the End of the year testing that each school must do. I have learned how to teach students that learn in a variety of different ways. I know that the best way for a student to learn is by which teaching methods best fit them. Teaching style varies depending on how the student learns best.

I have taught high school math for nine years and enjoy helping students excel in mathematics. I have taught the following classes: geometry, pre algebra and algebra 1. I recieved an Associates in Applied Science for Criminal justice at KCKCC. While studying at Kansas state, I was enrolled in the Chemistry major, completing Chemistry and Calculus 1 and 2. I have also recieved many gold medal competition awards in Individual as well as group singing competition. I recently took online classes in order to achieve my Masters of Science in Education. I participated in ROTC and majored in Math and Physics at the University of Colorado. After college, I joined the Air Force and worked in the airfield operations career field. After two years, I was chosen to become an instructor, where I fell in love with teaching. After separating from the military, I substitute taught for a year, primarily focusing on high school math. In 2007, I moved to Las Vegas, and I worked for a Tutoring Club. I taught math and my students ranged in age from 8 years through adult. I love teaching and working with students of all ages.
