I have been teaching children with special needs for about 15 years I am also an ABA therapist/ Shadow. Presently I am teaching primary grades with ESE students with Autism, LD, ADHD and Behaviors. I also teach Art to students in grades K--12th. Drawing, painting, Holiday crafts, wire sculpting. I provide simple and creative lessons for the students.
I enjoy teaching. I find teaching methods that will be creative so my students are encouraged to learn. All my students learn at a different level. I provide alot of hands on teaching, which helps to motivate students. Each student has a unique way of learning, they are provided, with visuals, manipulatives, verbal prompts in order to learn the lesson being taught. A Little Bit About Me...

I taught privately for most of my years of experience. My teaching experience was primarily English one on one and Piano. My tutoring experience has been with learning centers and some private tutoring. This was over a period of more than 10 years. I started with Huntington Learning Center and continued with several other on line tutoring services.
I am patient with children and think they can learn more in a tutoring atmosphere. In the classroom, they do not get the individual attention they may need, so tutoring gives them the time to ask questions and get the attention not provided in the classroom.

Always starting with elements of grammar and pronunciation. Reading Italian contemporary authors and watching Italian series and movie to improve the listening. Conversation is ALWAYS a part of my lesson
