As a recent graduate, I have the unique skill of relating to students on their own level. I love listening to their needs and assessing the situation with great care and concern. There are different learning techniques and all students are different. Once I learn the proper needs of the student, I will be very successful in helping them reach their goals. As a graduate of a sound Liberal Arts College, I've learned that the greatest asset I took away with me was the art of communication. I have earned a Bachelor of Arts in English with a focus in Creative Writing and Spanish. As a teacher, my goal is to touch and help the future. I am very creative and pride myself on thinking outside of the box, in order to instruct my students in a non-typical style if necessary. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been employed by the Cambria Heights School District for 14 years as a Title 1 educator. I currently am involved in curriculum math and reading. My job mainly deals with helping students achieve success by developing learning skills that fit the individual needs of specific students and adapting regular classroom instruction to fit those needs.
Most lessons can be taught in various styles but teachers are often faced with a curriculum guideline that they must follow. Often they do not have time to reteach the lesson and students begin to fall behind. With encouragement, guidance, and a new approach, many students can not only "catch up" but also stay succesful in that class.
