I have always had the ability to effectively teach my family, peers, and other classmates. However, I recently decided to get into the field of tutoring. My very first session, I fell in love with it. I am understanding that each student has different needs, different strengths and weaknesses. It is my job to reward those strengths, figure out those weaknesses and strengthen them. I am a young lady myself, but I know that the youth is our future. I have over 10 years of experience as a substitute teacher and a regular full time classroom teacher. My first position was teaching Japanese Language to middle school students in Salinas. These were for the most part first generation Americans of Hispanic background. I also taught hands on science at a private school where the children were mostly from India or Asia.
