Teaching in an inspiring and positive teaching style, I have special talent to explain and to clarify difficult concepts in a variety of ways that effectively "get the idea across" in a manner that makes learning easier and more fun. I believe that a structured environment with open communication is most effective and conducive to learning. I work with students to develop critical and independent problem-solving skills through praise and building confidence and self-esteem. Because all children do not learn the same way, I incorporate all three learning styles--auditory, visual and kinesthetic, or learning by doing-- into my teaching in order to meet individual needs and ability to learn.

As the eldest of five children, I have a life of experience working with children and teaching has always been a part of my life, even before I began working in education professionally.
