A Little Bit About Me...

I first introduce myself and get to know a little about the student I am tutoring. Then, I establish a baseline of what they have learned so that I can direct my attention to their strengths and weaknesses. Finally, I get into the material with the student and show them how and why the material is important and applicable in the world in which we live.
I have served as a substitute teacher in Hayward, CA for 1 1/2 years. I worked as a tutor for Learning & Loving It in San Jose, CA for 3 years. I served as a tutor and teacher of adult education in Loganville, GA for 1 year. I am currently on the substitute teacher roster for the Vicksburg School District, and I have been so for two years.
