I have quite alot of experience in the filed of education. I was very driven to attain my degree and I also attained a minor in Psychology. I earned an Associates degree in Human Services, and a BS degree in the field of Special Education with a minor in Psychology. It was in the area of Special Education that I was able to broaden that degree to help a larger spectrum of children. I enjoy working with children and feel that they each have their own individual learning style. At times, I feel that conventional educational methods may fail some children. I try to highlight a students strengths and build solid study habits and work patterns. For instance, if a student has trouble focusing on his/her work, I try to push them for short periods of intense study, and then reward them with a break. Since my first degree was completed through an integrated, online program, I stress organizational skills.
