My comments on tutoring Creative Writing : I have taught this subject at both primary and secondary levels in my school district.

Interactive modeling of examples, repetition, and simplifying subject matter are key components of my teaching style. Many students have difficulty relating to academic material due the lack being given time to practice example assignments. I also teach universal strategies of how to study material to fully understand assignments.
I have worked as a Special Education Instructional Assistant for the past 8 years. I am currently attending school to become a special education teacher. I am a former social worker, "turned teacher".

I use lesson plans and schedules left by the teacher, as well as textbooks and other materials like workbooks which are familiar to the children. I leave a written synopsis of the day for the teacher, including notes on behavioral issues or good/helpful behaviors.

I have spent the last three year being a nanny and tutor for kids in a variety of age groups. I have worked with all kinds of kids including special needs children, group home kids, High school students in AP classes, and Dyslexic children.
