I believe in Minimalism. I tutor Math from the point of view that the shortest path is the best path but everyone learns differently and finding the right method for my students is one of my main goals when tutoring. I teach students multiple ways to solve a particular problems and they get to decide which method works best for them, hopefully its the simplest method. Public School class rooms have 30 plus students and only one instructor. The low instructor to student ratio makes it difficult for more then one method to be taught leaving some students behind. Statistics help!

I've been teaching high school math for 18 years, and AP Statistics for 12 of those. I have had high success rates in my classes on the AP exam and really like the subject. I tutor my own students for free after school and am very successful at helping those that struggle with statistics. This really depends on the subject, however, I like to do drills to keep basic skills sharp, and to learn new skills. Each student is different, and will need slightly adjusted methodology. I'm also very open to suggestion.
I am a few years out of high school, and I've taken several college classes. My AP knowledge spans almost every subject. I can help with almost all high school level classes and below. The various sciences are probably my best subjects, however my knowledge of Biology is fairly limited.
