A Little Bit About Me...

I believe that patience is the most important virtue when teaching a child new material. I have a nephew who is ADHD and I have helped him with many school projects and other homework. He requires a lot of attention and a lot of patience. So I am aware that all children are different and have a different way of learning. I believe in finding what gets them motivated and expanding on that!
I have always loved teaching students the principals of Math. During my time at Harding University I was apart of a competitive Economic team (SIFE) and for them I developed original material on economic principles to present at the surrounding elementary schools and even high schools. I hold a bachelor's degree in Accounting. I am currently holding a Master's degree in Vocational Education. I have been teaching for 20 years. I have taught for 16 years middle/junior high school and for 4 years high school. I teach accounting and electronic accounting concepts.
