My very first year of teaching was at the Lehigh Valley Performing Arts High School, and I also taught for two years at Northern Lehigh High School. Currently, I am resigned and staying home, but looking to work part time. I have experience teaching grades 7-12 and working with all types of students. The classes I've taught range from Honors English to a class which targeted students struggling to gain proficiency in English related PSSA skills. Also, stressing the importance of practice tests as well as the skill of time management is important. Critical is an open communication and a awareness and sensitivity to the students learning needs / skills. Studying for my MA, I held a TA and found that I had a talent for connecting with students.
