I have been teaching four years. I am a highly driven person and expect a lot of myself as well as my students. I earned a BA degree in English Literature, and a Master of Arts degree in English/Creative writing from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Interactive as well as practical 1st I teach the grammatical aspect 2nd put to practice the lesson by a) doing practical exercises and b) interactive (students will repeat pronounciations with me and then practice with each other in groups or with partners)I will go to each group and listen to them and make corrections if need be 3rd I will instruct a student individually during the practical exercises or group sessions when I feel a student is not capturing an aspect of a lesson (understanding, pronounciation or grammatical)

I have been homeschooling my son since 2006 and mentoring students through a local church for just as long. In addition, I tutored in 1990-1991 and 1994-1997 while in college to earn extra money.
