Summer Math Tutor

I have tutored on a college level up to Calculus II in my campus tutoring center. I have completed two National Science Foundation Research Experiences for Undergraduates in math and biology. In addition, my minor is education and I have completed two courses, which require me to teach a math lesson to children in elementary school. I received great reviews from my teacher. A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style can best be described as varied! I believe that children learn in numerous ways, so as an educator it is my responsibility to provide multiple experiences - visual, oral, tactile, etc. A person walking by my classroom would see children smiling, working in groups, accomplishing projects, and would hear noise.
After graduating from Vanderbilt University I taught 5th grade for 2 years while working on my Master's at TSU. I then moved to the Knoxville area and taught K until my son was born in 2000. We then moved to Wisconsin where I taught in various after school programs until my 2 children were old enough for preschool.
