A Little Bit About Me...

As an Le Moyne College graduate, I was required to become well rounded in a multiple areas of study. I have achieved a BA in History and minor in the German language. The core courses in the Le Moyne curriculum assisted me in becoming well rounded in the areas of philosophy, religion,math and science. Due to writing research papers I have an wide vocabulary and precise grammatical skills. I am currently a 4H club leader and I mentor young girl.
I believe that a subject should be presented in a way that is fun for the pupil. I provide a very hands on approach to learning. In addition to completing an undergraduate degree in English Writing Arts in 2007, I have finished my graduate degree in Adolescence Education 7-12: English. This year I served as a tutor for Murray Learning Services, tutoring students in Oswego County in both English Language Arts and mathematics. I am also a substitute teacher for Mexico Academy and Central Schools where I have taught kindergarten through 12th grade, including special education classes. I have had wonderful opportunities to put my education to work during tutoring, substitute teaching, practicum settings and, currently, student teaching.
