Literature is one of my top subjects! I have a strong passion for literature. I scored in the top 90th percentile on the Kapstone senior exit exam for Literature. I am proficient in areas from Chaucer and the middle ages, to Shakespeare, early to contemporary British Literature. My area of special interest is American Literature. I am extremely well read in Southern and Appalachian Literature as well as American Literature from the 1930s.

I have been tutoring both peers and high school students during my stay at Lincoln Memorial University. My teaching style is very matter-of-fact and flexible. Some students learn by listening, others by reading, and still more by doing.
