My comments on tutoring Elementary Vocabulary : As a speaker of other languages, I have learned roots, prefixes and suffixes and can explain and help others learn vocabulary tricks and strategies. Also, learning a foreign language when one is little greatly helps with vocabulary skills in English as well.

2012 college graduate, majored in German language with a French language minor. I tutored foreign languages all 4 years in the Academic Resource Center at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. As part of our seminar classes, I also tutored Math at the Alexander II Elementary School in Macon. I have volunteer experience at the Joshua House After-school program. I was born in Romania and visit my family often so I can refresh my knowledge of the Romanian language as well.
I am a "kid-at-heart" who has a passion for helping other learn and succeed. I enjoy foreign languages and I want to share my enthusiasm with others. In this, I am flexible... Ideally, it should be comfortable enough for the student.
Currently, I am a student attending the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. At UT, I am majoring in Microbiology and maintaining a 3.18 GPA. During my education, I have had great opportunities to study the sciences and mathematics; however, history and philosophy are fun to study as well. In my studies of science, I have studied through all introductory biology and chemistry classes including both sections of organic chemistry. Love the Feeling of Helping Others Achieve Their Goals!

Teaching style varies depending on the student, but I always strive to pique their interest in certain areas by relating it to their everyday experiences. I believe interactive learning is most efficient and enjoyable, including examples and activities.
The vast majority of my experience has been obtained throughout my time in college and my willingness to help fellow students and/or friends in a variety of studies.
